It seems like a big selling point of IBM I is that it includes a database for free. But looking on the DB2 website, I see that there is a community edition of DB2 that is free up to 16 cores. So, given this, is it not true I could run AIX with DB2 and get most of the benefits of power hardware at a MUCH cheaper price?
