Always striving to bring the most innovative DevOps solutions to IBM i developers across the globe, Remain’s quarterly milestones and summer releases guarantee to deliver everything you need – now and in the future.
In addition to a number of enhancements, Remain Software’s ever-popular IBM i change management tool, TD/OMS 14.0.2, brings you two brand-new integrations: with Azure DevOps and SonarQube.
You can now generate Rest API using Mustache templates, create new IFS objects, use the TFROBJOMS API to transfer the objects without a user interface, and perform actions using multi-selection with Remain’s signature IBM i DevOps and change management platform.
You can now find analytical information about the state of your TD/OMS server in the Octo TD/OMS Dashboard, with warnings for issues like missing source and problematic transfers. The dashboard even contains trend analysis charts to show how your DevOps is improving over time.
You can now generate Rest APIs using a Mustache template – the template engine for the creation of dynamic content. Using Mustache templates gives you more flexibility and control over the generated objects.
Create new IFS files via the “Task” context menu, or copy an existing IFS file via “Components” in the context menu.
You can now use the TFROBJOMS API to transfer the objects – without a user interface
The “Delete branches” dialogue has been converted to a wizard that runs the operation inside, updating the table live as it progresses. The “Complete tasks” dialogue has also been converted to a wizard with similar functionality.
Azure DevOps is now fully integrated with TD/OMS. You can create a server based on an Azure project and:
Start producing filters to see work items
Link them to a TD/OMS task
Request or even open an item directly in Azure.
SonarQube is now also fully integrated with TD/OMS.
By creating a server based on a SonarQube installation, you will be able to:
Create filters to display issues related to the filter set properties
Link them to a TD/OMS task
Request to be opened directly on the SonarQube installation website.

New example video!
In this video I’m using functions from two different service programs to improve a program that shows a subfile. I’m using embedded SQL from RPG, service programs, a binding directory, and all is done from vscode.
Check it, have fun, and comment, please.
