Converting fetched columns into an array Simon Hutchinson

[[{“value”:”Coming up with a meaningful title for this post proved harder than normal. I was asked a question about how to fetch data, using a SQL Cursor, and convert some of the fetched columns into an array. The questioner had tried various approaches, but was always receiving an error in the SQL pre-compile step of his program.

Transferring subfile data JC_Hazard

[[{“value”:”Hi
Does anyone know what is the best and easiest way to transfer data from one subfile to another? I am pretty new to rpgle (using free format) and I am struggling to find a method, not sure if I must implement the use of an array or not. The columns are the same between the subfiles except for around 4 columns which are to be hardcoded by default. Any push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
